A message from the Executive Director

Providing personal wellness, security and safety for folks in the Brazos Valley is what BVCASA is all about.  BVCASA provides top notch prevention, intervention and treatment in the Brazos Valley for the most selfish of all reasons.  Because we enjoy living in what some folks call Paradise Valley; some folks call it Research Valley; we are just lucky enough to call it home.  Our way of life is what we are so zealously protecting.  As a result, some other folks get the opportunity to find a brand new life or learn the protective tools necessary to develop resiliency.

BVCASA is proud to be a part of a healthcare delivery system that gives families a sense of security about their well being.  We proudly provide residential and outpatient treatment based on individual need to those who are chemically dependent.  We are proud to offer these services at no cost to the medically indigent (200% federal poverty guidelines).  We are proud that our programs are ongoing, providing personal wellness to generations of families since 1984.

BVCASA is especially proud to provide prevention services to our most vulnerable, our children.  We proudly provide research based prevention programs in the schools to empower young people to make appropriate decisions.

BVCASA is on the cutting edge of innovative service provision, such as our use of the telehealth system to provide services in rural areas where transportation issues prohibit people from receiving services.

What we do is personally rewarding, not in the pocketbook, but in the eyes of a person who has found recovery or the eyes of a child whose family has been strengthened.
